Hello, welcome. I’m Caitlin, a therapist in Stirling, Scotland, who is passionate about moving away from the often rigid set-up of traditional therapy.
Tailoring therapy to fit your unique journey: Together, we’ll create a personalized approach that speaks to your individual needs and goals.

Seeking support takes courage.
If you’re anything like me, maybe you feel a bit scared and apprehensive. This can make it feel even more difficult to for help, especially in the form of therapy.
I’ve been where you are now. I remember how it felt to take that first step.
At first, I didn’t know what to expect from therapy. I worried about whether I’d find it helpful or whether I really needed it.
However, after many unsuccessful attempts to feel better (exercising, healthy eating, homeopathy, reiki, self help books… you name it, I tried it!) I eventually realised that I needed some extra support.
My Backstory
Having therapy was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. For the first time, I felt truly seen and validated for who I was. I felt safe to begin to explore what I was struggling with. Over time, I was able to understand myself better so that I could begin to make some positive changes in my life.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked within the area of mental health for 10 years. This included various roles within different organisations and the NHS, where I supported people who struggled with mild to severe mental health difficulties.
I knew that I loved supporting people to feel seen, heard and valued. However, I felt frustrated working within ‘the system’. I wanted to find other ways to help people. Training as a therapist felt like a natural transition from the knowledge and experience I gained whilst working within the area of mental health.
Since beginning my journey as a therapist, I have worked with young people and adults in various settings, including charitable organisations, community interest companies and further education.
Creating an inclusive therapy space
One thing I noticed whilst working in these settings was how rigid and restrictive the therapy set-up can be. I have worked with many clients, particularly those who identify as anxious, autistic, ADHD-ers, highly sensitive, neurodivergent and/or LGBTQ+. One thing I noticed was that many of these people struggled with the stereotypical ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy.
I decided to start my private practice because I wanted to work with clients in a personalised way which suits their unique needs and preferences.
